INTERVIEW WITH ANDYASOKA PRADANA P, HOTEL MANAGER OF FOX HARRIS HOTEL JIMBARAN

Could you please tell us a little about yourself?

I’m 29 years old and was born in Magelang, Central Java. I’ve been in hospitality for about 9 years before I was a singer in Yogyakarta. I love to meet new people and always learn new things to update my knowledge.

What do you think about the hospitality industry in Bali and what do you expect from it?

Bali is the best region in Indonesia for hospitality industry and I hope Bali can be a role model for other region.

Share with us the most memorable moment that has ever happened during your career

What is the craziest thing you have ever done in your life?

Many memorable moments that I have done during my career but this is the most;

At first applying for a job at the hotel, the opportunity was as a housekeeping attendant.  Actually all I wanted was to become a front office team. Then I thought, when doing the interview I should have done something differently so that the HR would consider to hire me in the front office. What I did was wearing a suit and tried to look as attractive as possible. And in fact, it worked, instead of meeting with the executive housekeeper, I got the chance to be interviewed by the front office manager. The red line is “ If there’s a will, there is a way “ ☺

If you could pick one place to be your dream destination anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?

London, I want to see Premiere League there #lol

What is your biggest weakness?

Always want to see every single thing match with our expectation, which in fact we need to realize that sometimes we cannot expect everything to be perfect.

What do you do for fun during your day off?

Spent time with my daughter or travelling

What do you see yourself in 5 years?

Work in corporate as a Director operation of the hotel management. Amen
