AIRASIA INDONESIA LAUNCHES INDONESIAN-THEMED LIVERY
Low-cost carrier AirAsia Indonesia has recently launched its Airbus A320-200 plane that boasts traditional Indonesian design for its aircraft livery. The plane features wayang kulit (shadow puppets), Mount Bromo and Borobudur Temple illustrations on its body, the three elements that represent the diverse culture, history and tourism of Indonesia, as well as portraying Tourism Ministry’s 10 Priority Destinations. The plane will be rotated around the four AirAsia hubs in Indonesia, namely Jakarta, Medan, Surabaya and Bali. It will also fly to eight international destinations that are included in the company’s 22 international routes. This is the second AirAsia plane that showcases the Wonderful Indonesia tourism logo. The first one was launched in May last year using Airbus A330-300 aircraft.
