AIRASIA LAUNCH ADVANCED ‘AUTO-BAG’ SYSTEM IN INDONESIA

To further show their commitment in innovation for passengers comfort in Indonesia, AirAsia just recently launched the Auto-Bag self service system. Ngurah Rai International Airport gets the honor to be the first airport in the country to be integrated with this system. Auto Bag let the passengers to handover their baggage without the help from staff / officer, just by showing their boarding pass. This safe and effective system is supported by the self-service kiosk where the passengers can print their luggage tag themselves. Launched on June 28th 2016 at International Check In area of Ngurah Rai International Airport, the efficiency and simplicity of this system was simulated, along with the positive impact of the counter capacity during packed check-in moment.
