AIRASIA LAUNCHES TWO BOOKS ON THE INSPIRING STORY OF CAPTAIN LIM KHOY HING AND CAPTAIN MONIKA ANGGREINI

In conjunction with the 10th anniversary of AirAsia’s inflight magazine 3Sixty, AirAsia has launched two books about the history of Captain Lim Khoy Hing and Captain Monika Anggreini, an Indonesian female pilot.

The book “Sky Tales: More Insights from a Life in the Skies” is Captain Lim’s second script after “Life in the Skies: Everything You Want To Know About Flying” published in 2013.

Captain Monika, AirAsia Indonesia’s first female pilot also announced the launching of a book titled “Iron Bird Monika”. It is an English edition of a book published last year, Monika Iron Bird: The Story of a Woman Pilot with Three Times More Spirit than Male Pilots.

The event was attended by AirAsia Berhad Executive Director Datuk Kamarudin Meranundan, AirAsia CEO Tan Sri Tony Fernandes, AirAsia Chief Executive Officer Benyamin Ismail, AirAsia X Chief Executive Officer, former pilot and current AirAsia X flight simulator AirAsia X Captain Lim Khoy Hing and Captain Monika Anggreini, Captain of AirAsia Indonesia.
