AMBAR UBUD BAR DEBUTS “RAISING THE BAR” SERIES FEATURING GUEST BARTENDERS FROM ALL AROUND INDONESIA

This March 2025, Ambar Ubud Bar is set to elevate the bar experiences for guests. Taking it to new heights, Ambar will play host to globally acclaimed bartenders from all around Indonesia. This exclusive event promises an exquisite fusion of international mixology talent, sustainability-focused concepts, and a celebration of local ingredients. Raising the Bar series features few key players of the following:

March 10, 2025: Agung “El Hombre” Satria & Panji Pinstripe Bar, Bali

I Putu Aris Sanjaya 
Aris Sanjaya won second place at Diageo World Class Global Bartender 2024. In addition to securing the second-place position, Aris also received the WORLD CLASS People’s Choice Award, further solidifying his exceptional performance.

Borty Jessika
Borty Jessika secured his place as the Top 10 finalists in Jameson Black Barrel Bartender Challenge 2024.

Cosmo Pony, Jakarta
Cosmo Pony is designed as the living room of the city, for Jakartans and cocktail lovers to share happiness. From an unusual riff on the classic Cosmopolitan, to an entire section dedicated to celebrate Indonesia’s role in producing tropical ingredients in abundance. Marsya, Bar Manager will takeover Ambar Ubud Bar and offer the delectable drinks.

Night Rooster, Bali
Their craft cocktail bar of local ingredients and custom house-made concoctions by their alchemist, Raka will take you on a unique personal experience of storytelling.

Agung “El Hombre” Satria 
The Ambassador of Bacardi-Martini’s Brand. Agung is also known for his creative mixology and expertise.

Pinstripe Bar
Step back in time to an era of frivolity, elegance, and glamour at Pinstripe Cocktail Bar, Ubud. From the moment you enter, you will be swept away by the vibrant energy and the enticing aroma of expertly crafted cocktails by their Head Mixologist, Panji Wisrawan.

Modernhaus, Jakarta 
A bar in Senopati by UNION Group, concocts cocktails inspired by plants from their mid-century modern abode. Notable mixologist ‘Bule’ has a way of organising and conceptualizing what he has concocted before into a neat lineup of cocktails that celebrate contrasting flavours and techniques, including zero-waste, another element that can be appreciated across growingly conscious drinkers.

Sip Sensei
Sip Sensei also known as Tariq Widarso, is a renowned educator and innovator in Jakarta’s vibrant cocktail scene. This self-taught mixologist has created recipes for a range of distinctive drinks for some of the city’s most exclusive brands and venues.

Wishbone Bar, Semarang 
Wishbone bartenders know the classics inside and out, and always have a few signature recipes on hand for thirsty guests, often made with regional ingredients. The bar’s notable ranking as one of Asia’s 50 Best Bars attests to its commitment as a destination bar in Semarang. Ayip will takeover Ambar Ubud Bar and offer the delectable drinks.

The Shady Pig
The team behind The Shady Pig is passionate about cocktails, making the most of experimental techniques like distillation, infusion, barrel-ageing, fat-washing and more, so you can be sure any concoction crafted here will satisfy the palate as well as the mind. Jonathan will takeover Ambar Ubud Bar and offer the delectable drinks.

Carrots Bar 
An intimate cocktail bar in SCBD, Jakarta offering a rotating menu of contemporary, culinary-driven concoctions with a focus on creative flair, personalized service and building communities. Alvin will takeover Ambar Ubud Bar and offer the delectable drinks.

Segno Bali
In the vibrant and ever-evolving landscape of Bali’s nightlife, Segno Bali emerges as a standout destination, offering a speakeasy experience like no other. Nestled in the bustling area of Batu Bolong in Canggu, this discreet cocktail bar is the brainchild of Yutaka Nakashima, a master mixologist who brings his unique style and precision to Bali, following the resounding success of his first bar, Koda, in Jakarta. Sebastian will takeover Ambar Ubud Bar and offer the delectable drinks.
