ANANTARA SEMINYAK BALI RESORT FIRST CHARITY FUN RUN HELD WITH AN ASTONISHING RESULT

Anantara Seminyak Bali Resort held their first charity run event on 29 October 2016 with great success. Over 1000 participants of all ages from multiple countries namely; Australia, Thailand, Jakarta, Semarang, Surabaya and Bali gathered together to take part in the 3km Sunset Run 2016, including two prestigious Indonesian athletes – the gold medal winner of the 2014 and 2015 Asian Games, Maria Londa, and Bali’s marathon athlete, Nicolas Albinus Sila. The first 10 runners who completed the track all received a special prize from Vietura Artisan of Anti Aging Bali. Nicolas Albinus Sila, Bali’s marathon athlete, crossed the line in first place, followed by Samgar Kelasi (Indonesia) Andika Andryawan (Bali), Paul Mckay (Australia), Ismail (Indonesia), Daniel Michael Kuntz (Russia), Gusti Ngurah Jayarusyana (Bali), Pawel Slomka (Australia), Ni Ketut Cita (Bali) and Dedek Buana (Indonesia). As a flagship charitable event, the Sunset Run 2016 raised US$ 1,300 for two non-profit organizations in Bali – the Suryani Institute for Mental Illness, which is dedicated to improving the mental health system, and Yayasan Senyum Bali, which helps people suffering from craniofacial disabilities.
