You must have worked with several hotels around the world, what is unique about The St. Regis Bali Resort and The Laguna Bali, and why did you decide to move and work in Bali?

I have indeed but these two beautiful properties are unique and close to my heart. With their Balinese luxury charms and their unique design, they are simply stunning.
I have always had a passion to travel the world, and although I have visited Bali many times working here is truly unique. I have always been inspired by the spiritualty of the island of the gods and feel blessed to be working in this unique environment and with the goodhearted people here.

What is the most memorable achievement in your career at hospitality industry?

There are many things I am proud of however my proudest moment is to have opened La Ville Hotel & Suites, an Autograph Collection Hotel in Dubai, which is now successfully positioned in the competitive market of Dubai.

How do you cope with so many competitions in Bali these days?

Yes there are many but our two hotels are truly unique and stand out from the competition.

What do you think your strongest personal quality is?

Since I am of German origin, I think I am a naturally organized person, combined with my bubbliness and a passion for creativity, I think I am well equipped to function in the Indonesian market.

If you could pick one place anywhere in the world to be your dream destination, where would it be? Honestly, that is a tough one, I love to travel the world and could not pin it down to one destination. So far I have not been to South America yet but it’s on the to do list to visit in the next few years.

Can you share tips for women who would like to follow the same career path?

Believe in yourself, be confident and have a dream.

What do you do for fun during your day off?

I love to jump on my scooter and explore the island. Hidden beaches, diving, jungle paths or adrenaline pumping activities in Ubud are on the top of my list.

If you had to live without Internet for a week, what would you do to keep yourself busy?

Explore, explore, explore. Or read a nice book and listen to music.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

Hard to say, I am an adventurer and believe in destiny. I will be where I am meant to be.
