Set to be held on Friday, 12 July 2024 at 6 pm, the beachfront ENVY Restaurant welcomes diners to ‘Bali BBQ’ as ENVY invite culinary maestros Chef Ronald N. Tokilov, who will work hand-in-hand with Holiday Inn Resort Baruna Bali’s Executive Chef, Chef Bernardus Paulus and his culinary team, to spoil guests’ appetites and ignite their senses with exceptional gastronomic creations at ENVY Restaurant.

Reconceptualized Nyegara Gunung is a Balinese philosophy that considers mountains, land, and seas to be inseparable. Bali BBQ will bring Bali especially Pantai Jerman’s potential —Three course menu with freshly caught seafood, meat, and locally grown and produced ingredients, revitalize the indigenous cooking methods. Chef Ron believes that our ancestors thoughtfully created Balinese spices for medicinal purposes since they mainly consist of natural spices. At this event, Chef Ron and ENVY’s culinary team will tantalise guests’ taste buds with not just nourishing food but precious tales of traditional recipes, and the secrets of the spices.

Price at IDR 550,000 net per person, the ‘Bali BBQ’ dinner will start with various Small Bites including Jackfruit Rendang, Pizza Seafood Cardamon, Gado-Gado, Corn Fritter and Spring Roll. For Appetizer, delight in Smoked Octopus Pantai Jerman with a mixture of confit octopus, young papaya, and kecombrang salsa. Moving on to the Charcoal Grills, indulge in the succulent Surf and Turf BBQ Platter with seafood skewer filled aromatic Balinese herb, slow-cooked fennel tomahawk, tiger prawn, and spring chicken.

Who is Chef Ron? Chef Ronald N. Tokilov is known for his passion in preserving the food of Bali Cardamon, the indigenous cuisine restaurant of Bali. He has been working to revitalize the indigenous cooking methods, spices, and ingredients of Bali. Chef Ron began his venture in the culinary world at the age of 18, when he was young enough to learn and explore. Hard work an natural talent brought him to be nominated as the youngest executive chef at the age of 25.
