author : , published : 09 February 2021

Mulia Bali offers two essential heritages to the celebration – the Nian Gao and Yee Sang. Traditionally consumed during the new year, Nian Gao – made of glutinous rice – is believed to bring good fortune, and is a symbol of self-improvement. While, Yee Sang, the traditional Teochew salad, represents a symbol of abundance, prosperity, and vigour. The contemporary version of Yee Sang service often served in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore. Both unique dishes are available from 1 February to 26 February 2021. Those wanting to bring something special for their friends and family can opt for an exclusive selection of hampers in beautifully adorned boxes.

For those who wish to celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year in the comfort of their homes, Mulia Bali offers two (2) set menus for the festive gathering. The set menus feature classic dishes such as Double-Boiled Wild Chicken Soup with Sea Coconut, Slow-Cooked Pork Ribs, Roasted Duck and Honey-Glazed Pork, along with the Crispy Fried Nian Gao.
