CONRAD BALI CELEBRATED THE START OF HOLIDAY SEASON WITH CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING AND STOLLENS CAKE
Gearing up for the festive holiday season, Conrad Bali initiated the celebrations by organizing a Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony at the East Lobby Lounge on December 1, 2016 and launching a charity sale to top it all off. The Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony was marked by angelic voices from Oikumene Protestant Christian Church choir. The guests also were able to witness the super-size of 20 meters long ‘stollen’ German cake made by the resort kitchen artist team, followed by the button pressing ceremony to light up the Christmas tree by Mr. Frederic Lebegue, General Manager of Conrad Bali. The stollen cake represents the year of 2016, which marks Conrad Bali’s 12th year anniversary since its inception in 2004. Guests could purchase the cake with price differ by its length, and all profit from the sale are donated to the Yayasan Sayangi Bali (Sayangi Bali Foundation), a non-profit organization dedicated to house abandoned babies from around Bali.
