It’s a role that allows me to contribute my culinary expertise to this renowned establishment, and I look forward to fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the culinary team.

At Salsa Verde, our commitment is to deliver an authentic Italian culinary experience, enabling our guests to savour true flavours. We focus on utilizing high-quality, locally sourced ingredients to create dishes that capture the essence of Italian cuisine. To enhance the dining experience, we introduce monthly special promotions, showcasing diverse specialities and seasonal delights.

What do you think is the most important part of ensuring exceptional customer service?
In my view, exceptional customer service requires a seamless blend of culinary excellence and genuine hospitality. Beyond delivering delicious and meticulously prepared dishes, it’s about creating a warm and inviting atmosphere where guests feel not just attended to but truly cared for. Attention to detail, personalised service, and a passion for exceeding expectations are paramount.

If you could collaborate with a celebrity chef, who would that be?
Collaborating with Chef Bottura, known for his innovative approach to blending Italian culinary traditions, would be a dream come true. His commitment to pushing boundaries aligns with my philosophy.

Who is your culinary idol?
I’ve always admired Chef Marchesi for his ground-breaking contributions to the culinary world. His dedication to preserving traditional techniques while embracing innovation resonates with me, and I strive to incorporate a similar balance in my culinary journey.

When did you realize your passion for the culinary world, and what triggered it?
I discovered my passion for cooking when I was young, influenced by the diverse flavours in my cultural background. Family gatherings, where we shared meals and laughter, sparked my interest. The joy of cooking and the communal experience made me appreciate the transformative power of gastronomy.

Have you ever thought of opening your restaurant in the future?
While opening my restaurant is a long-term aspiration, my current focus is on honing my skills and contributing to the success of Grand Hyatt Bali. I believe in immersing myself fully in the culinary world, gaining diverse experiences, and refining my craft before venturing into entrepreneurship. Grand Hyatt Bali presents an exciting opportunity to develop my expertise further and create exceptional culinary experiences for our guests.

What is your most memorable dining experience?
Well, Salsa Verde at Grand Hyatt Bali takes the cake! When your workplace is your favourite dining spot, you know you’ve hit the jackpot. On a serious note, any place that feels like home and serves up honest, delicious food is a memorable experience for me!

What do you do in your free time?
In my free time, I’m a culinary adventurer, always exploring new recipes and staying in the loop with food trends. Beyond the kitchen, I enjoy football, golf, music, movies, and travelling – my recipe for a well-rounded life, keeping things fresh when I dive back into the culinary world.
