Rumari is delighted to present another exceptional four-hands collaboration with three Michelin-starred Victor’s Fine Dining, set in May. This extraordinary partnership will unveil an exquisite tasting menu as part of the highly anticipated “Rumari and Friends” series.

Led by Culinary Director Gaetan Biesuz, Rumari stands as a beacon of fine dining in Bali, offering a tranquil ambiance complemented by stunning views of Jimbaran Bay. Embracing a contemporary interpretation of Southeast Asian flavours, Rumari adheres to the 80/20 rule, meticulously sourcing 80% of its ingredients from local farmers and producers. The restaurant’s commitment to excellence has been recognized with prestigious acknowledgments, including the designation of Krug Ambassade and consecutive “Award of Excellence” honours from Wine Spectator in 2022 and 2023.

Chef Christian Bau is celebrated as one of the culinary world’s most revered culinary figures, synonymous with the highest standards of fine dining. Since assuming the role of head chef and proprietor at Victor’s Fine Dining in 1998, Bau has consistently pushed the boundaries of gastronomic innovation. His exceptional talent propelled him to achieve his first Michelin star within a year of taking the helm, culminating in an extraordinary milestone as Germany’s youngest three-star chef in just seven years.

Drawing inspiration from the intricate nuances of Japanese cuisine, Chef Christian Bau has curated a distinctive culinary identity that seamlessly blends Eastern and Western traditions. Through his artistry, Bau harmoniously integrates the refinement of French haute cuisine with Japanese kaiseki, resulting in an unparalleled fusion of flavours, textures, and techniques.
