In cooperation with Bali Sea Turtle Society (BSTS), HARRIS Hotel & Residence Sunset Road Bali has just released turtle hatchlings back to its natural habitat. Held at Kuta Beach on Friday, September 9th, the hotel staff and BSTS representative simultaneously released turtle hatchlings to the shore where they will continue their life journey in the ocean. Turtle, has their nesting season between June to September and they can lay up to 800 eggs per day, however usually only one out of a thousand hatchlings will survive to adulthood. This movement is part of the hotel’s CSR done as a form of gratitude to the almighty & nature alike, along with the mangrove planting program held on July 2016.
