You must have worked with several hotels around the world, what is unique about Le Meridien Bali Jimbaran?
Its a small tranquil oasis nestled in Jimbaran Bay with one of the best sunset views from our roof top bar.
What attract you to work in Bali?
The mystical allure of the island and the potpourri of cultures.
What was your dream as a kid? Is it anywhere close to where you are now?
To be a fighter jet pilot on an aircraft carrier! I was always fascinated by aircraft carriers as a kid but I guess the closest to the sea now is actually working near the sea.
What are the biggest challenges you have overcome so far in your position? Share a bit with us..
Building a team of Associates who are willing to work together to achieve a common goal instead or individuality, having them believe in themselves that there are a lot of positives if we all move forward together and persevere through the tough periods.
How would you define leadership? In addition, what is the most important quality to have for a leader?
It is about mapping out where you need to go to “win” as a team, it is dynamic, exciting, and inspiring. It is about setting the direction, building an inspiring vision, and creating something new. The most important quality would be to have integrity, as leaders we help ourselves and others to do the right things.
How do you maintain a healthy work-life balance?
Stay positive, set your priorities right and respect your private time.
What is one skill that you would like to learn and why?
Playing the guitar. To earn my keep as a busking musician if I am out of a job.
