What excites you most about being the Director of Public Relations and Marketing of InterContinental Bali Resort?
Becoming the Director of Public Relations and Marketing for this legendary resort is an achievement beyond my wildest dreams. While it carries immense responsibility, I am also excited about the opportunity to oversee marketing efforts for this extensive resort and the Jimbaran Convention Center as one of the largest MICE facilities in the area.

From your personal experience, what do you think it takes to succeed in this industry?
Passion – Love what you do and do what you love.
Hard work – Do your best and enjoy the entire process. Take failure as a learned lesson to grow and succeed.
Commitment – Commit to everything you do wholeheartedly, all the way.

With experience working in several luxury resorts in Bali, what do you think is special about InterContinental Bali Resort?
I believe every hotel has its own Unique Selling Points. InterContinental Bali Resort possesses its own charm, combining modern contemporary elements with Balinese architectural concepts. Its beautiful landscape is adorned with lush greenery, sprawling beside the white sands of Jimbaran shores. It offers a picture-perfect spot to watch sunsets, all of which are reasons people visit this island. Additionally, we are fortunate to have facilities that are complete and can cater to a wide range of segments, including leisure travelers, families, honeymooners, individuals, as well as MICE and weddings.

When you’re at work, what puts a smile on your face?
When you feel welcomed by our own co-workers and see the guests happy.

As we celebrate our 30-year journey this year, we are continuing to promote and reposition both our resort and JCC within our key feeder market to achieve our goals.

What are the most challenging issues you are facing on your current job?
In marketing, it’s challenging to change the mindset of the market about the resort and also the co-working team’s perspective, urging them to always be as innovative and creative as possible in the midst of a competitive business environment. It will obviously take time, but keep focused and embrace the positivity of teamwork.

What do you think is the most important part of ensuring a memorable and exceptional experience of true luxury for guests?
By providing personalized treatment and ensuring the fulfilment of guest expectations through delivering the utmost service, we focus not only on the facilities but also on the entire experience. This makes them feel at home away from home and enables them to be at their best.

What do you do for fun during your day off?
Spend time with family, playing with one a half-year baby boy, culinary journey and playing Tennis.
