Hi Daria! Let’s start with a bit of your background. What were you like in high school and what was your dream job growing up?

Hi! Actually I was thinking of being a psychologist. I’ve been always interested in music but never dared to dream that my job will be connected with it nor I thought about hospitality industry. But since I started working at Hard Rock having a part-time job during university years I understood that it is THE place I would like to be a part of.

You have been in Bali for quite some time now. Any favorite place that you often visit to hangout? What about the beaches? Do you have any favorable one beside Kuta?

I believe that it is not about the place, but the people you are with, so that means many in Bali.

If you had to change your name, what would your new name be, and why would you choose that name?

Actually I am quite happy with mine, but for some reason not everyone in Bali gets it from the first time. So it shortens to D sometimes.

As a Sales & Marketing Manager of Hard Rock Cafe Bali, what is the most challenging thing you have experienced so far? And what would you do to maintain your brand to stand out among other competitors?

Not a secret, working in Kuta area now is challenging because of people’s stereotypes. And as for the brand, we provide an authentic experience treating our guests like friends; we focus on quality of all our products whether it is food, beverage, collectible merchandise or entertainment. And I am doing my best to make more people love Hard Rock as much as our team does.

Describe to us a bit of your daily activities, and name three things that you must carry with you every day

Phone, business cards, positive mood

Name us one of the dream destinations, anywhere in the world that you haven’t had the chance to visit so far

I would love to make journey through Latin America. I am sure it is the journey of a lifetime.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

I never planned these things. I had never seen myself in Bali let’s say 2 years ago. I think if you are doing what you love, if you are honest to others and first of all to yourself and don’t miss the opportunities life gives to you, everything will be as it should and you’ll be there where you need to be.

What do you do when you feel homesick?

Skype-ing with my parents.
