uaDTYCQSYTVXUYou’ve been travelling and working around the world. Could you tell us why you picked Bali to do your current career?

Who wouldn’t love to live in Bali? Eat Pray Love however, for me it’s more Eat, Pray, Work. It’s hard to describe the grounded sense of relaxation yet theatrically vibrant that Bali has
to offer. I admire and enjoy living in a place, which has a strong sense of identity. I find that truly refreshing.

Since you’ve been around for quite some time in Bali, could you tell us some of your most favorite beach destination in the island?

Bali is not short of beaches that’s a fact. If I have to pick, I would go for Geger beach nearby where I live. Swim in the glistening blue-turquoise waters and lounge on the white sand beach, a perfect weekend spot for a sun seeker like me. Another pick is Balangan Beach. This gorgeous beach is a surfing paradise, which attracts wave riders from around the world though I am not a surfer as yet. I just like a Hawaiian vibe this beach brings.

If you didn’t pick this current career choice, what would you be, and why?

Photographer! Photography to me is an art of reflection. Photos capture and reflect particular moments and allow time to stand still. Isn’t that amazing? It is also about finding something interesting in an ordinary place that also opens a new perspective with the way I see things in life.

What is the most interesting thing that you have seen / read this past week? Tell us more about it?

It may not be the most interesting thing nonetheless it has a great deal of effect on me. Like many, I was upset about the horrific terrorist attacks in London a few days ago. It    is heartbreaking to see innocent people lost their life in dreadful incidents. Life shall not be dictated by fear. I for one will keep traveling as travel is the antidote to fear, hatred and ignorance.

What do you think the biggest trait one must have to be in your career position (and the reason why)?

I believe in team working and developing the team. As a wise man once said “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime”.
I am fortunate to lead the talented individuals in my team and help bringing out the best in them and they also bring out the best in me.

What do you usually do on your spare time? Do you have particular hobby or interest? Share with us a bit about it (and the reason why)

Now that I landed in Bali, one of the most photogenic and captivating places I’ve ever seen. Whenever I have some time off, I usually explore and discover new places and take some pictures. How blessed I am to be here. You can check out my photos @RSontheMove and share with me your thoughts.

Which celebrity would you rate as perfect 10?

Madonna. No one is perfect though, everyone has flaws. However she is an example of concise clarity in oneself powered by decades of lived experience. I am beyond impressed by her talents and relentless perseverance. She is my source of inspiration and a real queen.
