untitled-1-2

You have been working at the Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve as Director of Sales and Marketing for quite a while now. Could you tell us of what the resort could be doing to improve the guest’s loyalty?

Our company has a very high ratio of returnee guests; we strive to give the best service. I know Mandapa guests are coming back for our natural interior design and most importantly because of the genuine detailed service of our Ladies and Gentlemen. I will insist on details and personalized, as we are creating this bond with our guests which make them come over and over as they feel treated as part of the family.

What is the main difference of living in Indonesia and living back home in France? Share with us one of your most memorable ‘culture-shock’-related experience

Living in Indonesia is very different from living in France, however Indonesian make you feel like home by their genuine hospitality and the legendary Balinese smile. The strongest difference will be on Balinese religion with all the different beliefs and the energy that comes out from this place. I never believed in ghost or bad spirits, now I do.

How would you describe your brand in one sentence?

Ritz-Carlton Reserve is a collection of exclusive boutique resorts, located in extraordinary locations where our Ladies & Gentlemen immerse our guests in the local culture by delivering transformative experiences.

What love means to you?

Oscar Wilde once wrote: “The mystery of love is greater than the mystery of death”.

Who has inspired you the most in life ?

Many friends or family members influence me by our differences and help me growth. I am only inspired by the “me” I want to be in the next 5 or 10 years. Who I want to be in the next 5 years is my motivation and ultimate goal.

If you could live forever, how would you spend eternity?

If I could live for eternity, I will most probably find a solution to get all humans to live together with love and ban poverty and ignorance from earth.

How do you want to be remembered?

Well, never thought about that. To be remember as a trusted and reliable friend. I am not looking for fame or glory
