Congratulations on your new role! Tell us about your work as the new Assistant Director of Marketing Communications at W Bali – Seminyak, one of the best luxury resorts in Bali and the only W hotel in Indonesia.
Thank you so much! Super excited to step into this role at such an iconic spot. As the Assistant Director of Marketing Communications, I’m all about bringing the W Bali vibe to life—through fun storytelling, bold campaigns, and epic guest experiences. Whether it’s creating buzzworthy content, teaming up with cool brands, or leveling up our digital game, the goal is simple: keep W Bali on top, not just here, but on the global stage. Let’s make some noise!

Can you share the latest updates about W Bali – Seminyak?
There’s never a dull moment at W Bali! This season, we’re turning up the heat with fresh new activations – think electrifying music events, bold culinary experiences, and all-around good vibes.
At Starfish Bloo, brunch isn’t just a meal – it’s an experience. Dive into an epic spread featuring the freshest seafood, indulgent desserts, and even our signature suckling pig. Plus, we’ve got some exciting collab brunches coming up, including one with Sensorium, and more surprises on the way!
Music lovers, get ready! One of our biggest events of the year – Summer Soundwave – is dropping this June. Expect an electric atmosphere, a killer live DJ set, and nonstop energy that will keep you dancing all night long.
And because good times should do good too, we’re staying committed to sustainability, working hand in hand with Scholars of Sustenance and Sungai Watch to give back to the community and help keep Bali beautiful.

In your opinion, what trends will dominate the luxury travel sector this year?
Luxury travelers today want more than just a stunning place to stay – they’re craving meaningful, immersive experiences. Personalization is the name of the game, with guests looking for tailor-made itineraries that match their passions, whether it’s food, wellness, adventure, or art.
Sustainability is also front and center, as more travelers seek out eco-conscious brands and experiences that align with their values. And let’s not forget the power of digital innovation – from seamless mobile check-ins to AI-driven personalization, technology is redefining the guest journey, making every stay smoother, smarter, and more unforgettable.

What do you enjoy most about working in the hospitality industry?
It’s the people! Hospitality is all about human connections – creating moments that wow, surprise, and delight. There’s nothing better than seeing a guest’s face light up because of an experience we’ve crafted just for them. Plus, this industry is anything but predictable – every day brings something new, exciting, and unexpected. No two days are ever the same, and that’s what keeps it so thrilling!

Can you share the most memorable moment of your career so far?
There have been so many unforgettable moments, but one that really stood out was being part of the pre-opening team for a boutique hotel property. Watching months of planning come to life, welcoming our first guests, and feeling the buzz of a brand-new space was pure magic. It was a powerful reminder of why I love this industry – turning bold visions into reality and creating unforgettable experiences for our guests.

With several F&B outlets at your resort, what restaurant or dish would you personally recommend to us?
That’s a tough one! With so many incredible choices, it’s hard to pick just one—but if I had to, I’d kick things off with the Sunday brunch at Starfish Bloo. It’s more than just a meal, it’s an experience. Think fresh oysters, lobster, and sushi, all enjoyed with ocean views and a buzzing beachfront vibe that makes every bite even better.
Craving something bold and indulgent? The Bone-in Tomahawk at FIRE is a must. Cooked to perfection over an open flame, it’s juicy, flavorful, and seriously impressive. Pair it with a full-bodied red wine, and you’ve got a next-level dining experience.
And for those who love a little mystery, keep an eye out for our exclusive chef collaborations and special dining events – we’re always shaking things up to bring fresh, exciting flavors to the table. 

How do you maintain a healthy work-life balance?
Balance is everything – especially in hospitality! I make sure to carve out time for the things that keep me energized, whether it’s an early morning beach walk, a solid workout, or just vibing to good music. Having a great team makes all the difference too – when you love what you do and work with passionate people, it never really feels like just a job!
