Congratulation on your new role! How do you feel about being appointed as the Executive Pastry Chef at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua Bali
I am really excited to be part of this beautiful property, and I can’t wait to create a lot of new pastries and bake goods with my team.
What can we expect to see from the dessert menu across the dining venues at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali
We are focusing on taste, texture and the use of local ingredients. We hope that everyone who comes and tastes our dessert will remember that desserts are not only about the presentation but also the happiness when they enjoy our desserts.
Do you have a favorite dessert? If so, what makes it special to you?
Tiramisu, I just feel like I can eat more and more if there is any Tiramisu in front me. lol
Who is your culinary idol, and how have they influenced your career?
Chef Patrick Chew Peck Tee. He was my Executive Pastry Chef when we worked together at Bulgari Resort Bali. He is the one who taught me a lot about discipline and how to make great pastries and baked goods. His attention to detail is a memorable lesson for me to this day.

What inspired you to pursue a career as a pastry chef?
Just a simple answer:, I love to eat bread and dessert
How do you stay updated on the latest trends and innovations in the pastry and baking industry?
By constantly experimenting with the latest trends then serving them to our guests.
Are there any plans to develop a signature pastry for The Westin Resort Nusa Dua Bali
Yes, for sure. We will continue to create new pastries and baked goods at The Westin Nusa Dua Bali.
