LEVANTINE GRILLED MEAT AT SABABA BALI
Sababa Bali is a new restaurant situated in the heart of Berawa serving East Mediterranean- inspired share plates from ‘Octo – ganoush’ – grilles octopus and babaganoush to the peas and kale based green shakshouka or to the traditional grilled meat. Sababa comes from the word “Tzababa” in Arabic which means “great” or “wonderful”. Open from 5 pm, this earthy ambience venue brings a warm and cool atmosphere. Cosy corners, long convivial benches, seats or textured bars are different areas to experience the Sababa spirits as well as the selections.
Discover the oriental-inspired cocktails that echo ingredients from the menu such as a sip of Delima Cosmo, the pomegranate version of the Cosmopolitan. The wide range of sharing plates is better enjoyed with our best selection of wine, their scintillating cocktails or with a fresh Lemonana (the ice fresh mint lemon beverage). Tantalize your buds by dipping the fluffy Sababread into homemade dips such as the Spicy Zhug (green chilli sauce with garlic) and house-made labneh (Iconic middle eastern cheese spread). Desserts are as delectable with options like savoury Knafeh cake and malabi, a Levantine version of creamy milk pudding showered with strawberry sauce and pistachios.
