MAYA’S VAN INTRODUCES FEEL GOOD CUISINE TO BALI
This December, Maya’s Pantry will launch an elevated food truck, Maya’s Van, to introduce its restaurant concept to local islanders. Maya’s Van will travel around the island at some of Bali’s most vibrant beach spots. Through this series of pop up, guests will get a taste of the all-day feel-good cuisine from Maya’s Pantry when Kimpton Naranta Bali opens in Q1 2022.
Guests will be able to choose an array of delicious homemade selections such as gluten-free and sugar-free cakes and pastries, organic slow pressed juices, homemade sauces, jams and sambals, vegan and classic comfort foods. The variety of beverages will include healthy and cleansing drinks, coffee from locally-sourced beans from Kintamani, homemade Maya’s kombucha, and super food add-ons such as spirulina, bee pollen, flax seeds, moringa and protein powder.
“Cutting edge Restaurant & Bar programming plays a big part in Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants across the world. Maya’s Van is part of our ramp up towards the opening of our first Kimpton resort in Indonesia, slated for Q1 2022. The new resort under IHG’s luxury boutique brand will offer Kimpton’s signature perks including a nightly-hosted Social Hour, the brand’s industry-leading pet-friendly attitude, and an approachable luxury experience fuelled by a team who champions heartfelt, human connections,” said Simon Dornan, General Manager, Kimpton Naranta Bali.
As an extension of Maya’s Pantry, Maya’s Van will move across Bali to select locations – filled with mouth-watering easy to go bites and drinks that are perfect to be enjoyed in a laidback surrounding. During sunset hours, be tempted by Maya’s Burger, a milk bun with grass-fed beef patty, bacon, honey ham, grilled pineapple, jack cheese and BBQ sauce or, choose from the vibrant Nourishment Bowl and other wellness inspired vegan nourishment bowls. On Sunday mornings until noon, Maya’s Van will serve its Bali Brekkie Bowl of coconut yoghurt, moringa and fresh fruits, Bacon & Egg Roll or the Peanut Butter Oatmeal and handcrafted single origin coffee from Tanamera Coffee, perfect for kick-starting a day full of self-care. From its collaboration with Campari Group comes a drink selection that features a bevy of signature concoctions made with Skyy Vodka, Bulldog Gin and Aperol.
