It’s the vibrant atmosphere! W Bali absolutely delivers What’s New/Next, 24/7, and I believe there are no customers staying at our property who will ever get bored.
You started your career in Germany before making your way to Thailand, why did you choose Indonesia as your new destination?
I had visited Bali a few times before and I loved it, so I told myself if I ever got the chance to work in the Island of the Gods, I would take it! Beside Bali, I haven’t seen any other parts of Indonesia yet so I’m excited to explore more of this beautiful country in my free time.
Then of course when you get the call to work at W Bali, you just can’t say no! it is a flagship for the brand in the region and in the world
As a food and beverage enthusiast, what do you love most about it?
It’s the diversity, which is also the reason why I came to Asia. Having been to many countries around the world, all of them have some unique specialities, however Asian countries are difficult to beat! The variety of the flavours is just amazing and even after 6 years in Thailand, I was still finding everyday new things I hadn’t tried in different areas of the country.

What do you think is the most important part of ensuring exceptional customer service?
The best customer service for me is a personalized one. The more we know our customers, the better we can provide them exactly what they want and create epic moments which they don’t expect
If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would it be?
Right now? Right here!
If you had to choose, would you rather never eat your favourite food again or have to eat only it for the rest of your life?
Never eating it again as my favourite food has changed many times in the past years and I’m sure it will continue the more I travel and see new things.
What is the one thing you can’t live without?
All the amazing people around me – my family, my friends, my team and my 37 pairs of sneakers!
What do you do in your free time?
I’m always up for activities, outdoor or indoor especially for things I haven’t seen or done before. I can’t stay at home just watching series, I’m really bad in just relaxing a whole day!
