Phu Quoc

Located in the gulf of Thailand, Phu Quoc is Vietnam largest island that stretched 48km across the sea. It is a holiday haven for worldwide tourist to soak up the sun on white sandy beaches or for adventurous travelers looking for genuine forest trails and natural landmarks to explore.

Even for the Vietnamese, Phu Quoc is considered a rather new tourism site. Blessed with favorable natural environment like the virgin forest of over 37,000 hectares, white sandy beaches, coral gardens offshore, varieties of wildlife species, it is not hard to see why the island has great tourism potential.

Despite building up reputation as prominent getaway destination, most of areas around Phu Quoc are still pretty much underdeveloped. The majority of the Island is dedicated to National Park and protected marine environment. Stir away from the resort lining at Long Beach area and you may find yourself an ample space for exploration.

Feel free to do adventurous activities to fill up your holiday, such as diving down the mesmerizing reef, rowing kayak in the bays, or just go down the road on a thrilling motorcycle ride and interact with the friendly locals. At dawn, chill yourself by lounging on the beach, enjoying fresh seafood dinner or pampering massage by the sea.

For an indulging accommodation, you can stay at La Veranda Resort Phu Quoc. Situated on the white sand of Duong Dong beach overlooking the Western Gulf of Thailand side and surrounded by lush tropical jungle, La Veranda is a reminiscent of a French colonial seaside mansion that boasts 70 rooms and villas feature dark wood, mosaic tiles, exposed feature brick work, unhurried ceiling fans, double doors with high ceilings crafted with comfort and indulgence in mind, coupled with all modern facilities of a 5-star hotel.

Cater your hunger at one of four restaurants at the resort, from the fancy Le Bar that serves arrays of sophisticated wine, beer and spirits coated with fantastic regular live music, to Le Pepper Tree that offers stunning views over the ocean with selections of Pacific Rim cuisine menu.
