The Legian Seminyak, Bali is delighted to announce that their award-winning eatery The Restaurant has won the ‘Award of Excellence’ in the 2019 Wine Spectator Excellence Awards. The Restaurant has been honoured by Wine Spectator for its outstanding wine list.

The Wine Spectator Awards honour excellence in wine lists, recognising restaurants and bars in 79 countries and territories. The Award of Excellence recognises restaurants whose wine lists feature a well-chosen assortment of quality producers along with a thematic match to the menu in both price and style. Ranging in size from ninety selections to several hundred, the awarded wine lists are always well-focused and tend to emphasise discovery.

The Evolve tasting menu at The Restaurant includes carefully curated courses such as Black ink risotto with sautéed squid and basil paired with Clarendelle Blanc by Haut Brion, France, as well as Roasted chicken breast with chickpeas and olives paired with Pinot Noir, Bogle Vineyards, California, and a Chocolate and hazelnut palette paired with Rosa Regale, Banfi Brachetto d’Acqui, Italy
