SUDAMALA RESORTS INTRODUCES DORIN SCHUSTER AS CORPORATE CHEF AND GROUP F&B DIRECTOR AT SUDAMALA RESORTS
Sudamala Resorts is delighted to announce the appointment of Dorin Schuster as the new Corporate Chef and Group Food & Beverage Director, effective June 1, 2024.
A Culinary Visionary Joins the Team Chef Dorin boasts an illustrious career spanning over three decades in the culinary arts and a certified Master Chef. He brings a wealth of experience, creativity, and a passion for excellence to Sudamala Resorts.
In his new role, Chef Dorin will oversee culinary operations and food & beverage strategies across all Sudamala Resorts properties in Bali, Lombok, and Flores. He will be responsible for menu development, kitchen management, staff training, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and service. Chef Dorin is renowned for his innovative approach, blending traditional flavours with contemporary techniques to create unforgettable dining experiences.

A World of Culinary Inspiration
Chef Dorin’s impressive career includes tenures at Michelin-starred restaurants and luxury hotels around the globe. His culinary journey has taken him from Europe to Asia, where he has honed his skills and developed a deep appreciation for diverse cuisines. Prior to joining Sudamala Resorts, Chef Dorin held prestigious positions with leading hospitality brands.
Having gained a wealth of experience in European cuisine, Chef Dorin’s talents moved him to join the GHM team at The Legian in Bali, Indonesia and the Chedi Muscat. Following this, The Ritz-Carlton Bali and The Chedi Katara in the same esteemed position.
Chef Dorin also achieved great success opening and leading the kitchen at Iggy’s in Singapore, voted ‘Best New Restaurant’ at the 2006 World Gourmet Summit. During his tenure, he was awarded the San Pellegrino ‘Chef of the Year’ award in 2007. The restaurant was voted 4th best in Asia in 2006 and No. 60 in the world in 2007 by UK Restaurant Magazine.
