This Valentine’s Day, in the spirit of Italian romance, we are excited to announce that Michelin-starred Italian chef, Giovanni Luca Di Perro, will be taking over Uma Cucina for three days of exciting culinary creations.
Chef Giovanni is joining us from COMO Castello Del Nero – our Italian hotel nestled in the rolling hills of Tuscany’s wine region, where he leads our Michelin-starred restaurant La Torre. Across his three days in Bali, you are welcome to join us to experience:

Italian Cooking Classes
1.00pm | February 13th and February 15th 2020
This two-hour hands-on experience will teach you how to make three different pastas, as well as the art of a classic tiramisu. After cooking, you can sit down at our pavilion to enjoy your creations. IDR 665,500 per person.

Flavours of Tuscany: Five-course Valentine’s Day feast
6.30pm | Friday 14th 2020
For one night only, sample the rustic flavours or rural Italy with Chef Giovanni’s special five-course seafood menu. Dishes will include scallops in Mediterranean sauce, and beetroot scampi risotto. Listen to the live music play as the flavours of Tuscany float on the gentle breeze. IDR 786,500 per person.

Taste of Italy: Four-course feast
6.30pm | February 13th and February 15th 2020
On either side of Valentine’s Day, Chef Giovanni will be hosting a special four-course Italian menu. Classic dishes like ricotta and spinach ravioli, and marinated beef carpaccio, will be served alongside flavourful Italian wines. IDR 665,500 per person.
