‘WALK WITH ME’ AT INTERCONTINENTAL BALI RESORT

InterContinental Bali Resort and Teratai Foundation, in cooperation with Bali Bersama Bisa, join hands in supporting the Bali community with vision disabilities and mental health. InterContinental Bali Resort, with the two organizations, will hold a “Walk with Me” fundraising event where participants will walk along the beach blindfolded, with the next walk happening on Saturday, 29 April 2023.

The recently concluded “Walk with Me” event happened at Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach on 28 February, while the first walk concluded on 18 January at Holiday Inn Benoa Resort and the second at Holiday Inn Baruna Resort on 25 February.

This event is held monthly, with each walk happening within different areas around Bali. The upcoming “Walk With Me” event is happening in the grounds of InterContinental Bali Resort, with the aim to create public awareness about the daily challenges of the visually impaired. By participating in the walk, participants experience firsthand the difficulties and experience ways they cope with these challenges.

This programme is part of InterContinental Bali Resort’s social responsibility efforts and sustainability, serving the community by raising awareness of marginalized societies. The resort believes that as a responsible corporate citizen, it has to contribute to developing the local community and environment.
