From island to island, country to country, Emilio has more than 38 years of experience as a leader in the hospitality industry. For him, a career is a passion that he will always cherish, and successes are the result of the passion from which he emerges. Effectively starting October 1, 2022, Emilio plays a key role in the hotel’s day-to-day operations and continues to provide guests with heartfelt service.

Originally from Italy, Emilio brought his knowledge of the hospitality industry to his latest island resort, Sheraton Maldives Resort & SPA, before deciding to take off to the island of the gods, Bali. For him, tourism in Bali has long been a melting pot of cultures. Cultural acculturation is ubiquitous in Bali and gives Bali a charm not found in other places. He is also known to have a keen interest in traveling and exploring new places, and getting deeper knowledge of new cultures is always on his to-do list. He enjoys a healthy lifestyle, both in terms of food and taking time regularly to exercise. As a self-proclaimed foodie, discovering new kinds of local delicacies is always at the top of his mind.
